In 1957, Angeli Vaida won the Silver Palm Award at the Cannes Film Festival for his films "The Canal" and Ingmar Bergman's "The Seventh Seal". Fifty years later, we met him and he was the author of many important films, such as "Ashes and Diamonds", "Marble Man", or "Denton". He now directed one of the most important films of his career, "Katyn", which tells the story of the massacre of thousands of Polish officers murdered by the Soviet Union during World War II, including Vaida's father, a tragedy that has been unknown for decades.
