Wilson created a space for the adult Hilts to share her wisdom, vulnerability, and humanity, while reflecting on her career and life, including her complex relationship with her mother Terry, her marriage to Andre Agassi, and her own struggle with her mother. Pretty Baby is honest and sharp: Brooke Shields criticizes a toxic culture and power structure that perpetuates misogyny and colludes with the sexualization and objectification of young girls.
